Our voices are incredible tools of communication and personal presence in the world. Yet how we relate to and use our own voice can be complicated and limited. Join us for a new 6-week workshop in which we will explore the nature of the human voice and introduce targeted practices of vocal yoga to gain greater confidence, authentic presence, flexibility, freedom, and joy of the voice. The focused study and expansion of the uniquely personal gift of our own human voice can lead to dramatic transformation in how we understand ourselves and the world and how we interface with the Divine and/or the external world.
This workshop assumes no prior knowledge or experience, and the ability to read music is not requisite. If you have always wondered about studying voice, this is a great place to start! Public speakers and seasoned singers may also benefit in flexibility, expanded vocal color, centering breath practice, and may gain perspective and enhanced vocal freedom through this spiritual approach to vocal studies.
COST: $80 for the full 6-week series
1) Drop-in students cannot be accommodated. To build a sense of community trust and focused practice, the 6-week workshop is limited to the maximum of 10 students.
